Unterkunft: Saanan Lumous is located in the middle of fairytale landscapes in Kilpisjärvi village. The landscape is dominated by clear fell lakes and Finland's largest fells. The most famous of the fells is the steep Saana, at the foot of which the village is located. Saana's Lumous is a warm and well-equipped cabin. From the large windows, the wide fell landscape opens up to Ala-Kilpisjärvi, which you can admire in the warmth of the fireplace. The area is especially popular with nature tourists. In addition to the attractions of Kilpisjärvi area, it is only 16 km distance to the Norwegian border and 50 km distance to the shore of the fjord. 1.1 km to the Kalotti hiking route, many good day routes in the area. Kilpisjärvi nature center and Saanatunturi trail 1,1 km, Malla nature park 8 km, boundary mark of three counties (Finland, Sweden and Norway) 16 km.
