The region of Kuopio and its surroundings offer extensive opportunities for recreation and active vacation. 12 km of Kuopio, Lake Kallavesi 30 m, sand-bottomed rapidly deepening beach, own pier, and rowing boat. Log cabin (2012) with kitchen, living areas with fireplaces available on both the upper and ground floors, and three bedrooms each with two beds. In addition, two high-quality, thick-mattressed foldable extra beds. Two WCs, washroom, and sauna with electric sauna stove. In the yard, a brick-built grill. A separate lakeside sauna in the yard is available for rent for an extra fee. The sauna has electricity, a dressing room, a shower, and WC in the washing room, and a wood-burning sauna stove in the steam room.
